Puma Capital Group

"I've been at Puma since the beginning, and in that time, I've seen it expand and flourish. Being part of a business at the start of its journey is incredibly exciting, navigating the challenges and opportunities along the way."

"I'm Managing Director of Puma Property Finance, responsible for originating, underwriting, executing and exiting first-charge development finance loans across the UK, as well as liaising with the boards of the entities whose funds we manage. I'm also responsible for the fund management of the Puma VCTs and sit on the main Puma Capital Group board.

I am a qualified solicitor and spent seven years practising at Berwin Leighton Paisner (now Bryan Cave Leighton Paisner). I then joined Shore Capital Group in 2006, initially as Funds Counsel, before I moved to a more commercial role on the investment side of the asset management business, primarily leading the investment team running the Puma VCTs. In 2012 I helped establish Puma Investments and have been an integral part of the business's creation, development, growth and continued success.

I'm also on the Build-to-Rent steering committee of CREFC Europe (the trade association for the commercial real estate finance industry), having previously sat on the Association of Investment Companies VCT Board and been a member of the HM Treasury VC Schemes Advisory Group."

What gets him up in the morning

"Having been part of Puma's journey since the very beginning, I'm passionate about helping the business grow further: to help develop the wider Puma Group into a best-in-class fund manager, as well as establish Puma Property Finance as the alternative lender of choice in its chosen markets."

When he's not at work

"I have a wonderful family, including five gorgeous children, so my spare time is spent with them!"
